Why WeTravel?


Q: How did you collect payments from your travelers before you started using WeTravel?

A: We used a combination of international bank transfers and Paypal. With bank transfers, we could not take any last-minute bookings, especially for the pricier trips to the Galapagos. Once, our client's bank transfer didn't clear until two months after their trip. Paypal is very expensive for us as the receiver, although free for the sender. Also, not all customers have Paypal and they told us it was a hassle to make a Paypal account while traveling.


Q: How has this problem been solved by WeTravel?

A: Using WeTravel, now we can charge clients with any credit card. Clients can pay online easily from anywhere. My team sends the payment link and five minutes later we receive the payments. We also use WeTravel as our point-of-sale solution for clients who prefer to pay us in person or over the phone.

A: The payment process has been easier and faster since we switched to WeTravel. The user interface is very easy to follow. The support team is responsive and always there to help. Moreover, it took me only 20 minutes to train employees to use WeTravel.
