About Bschool Travel
Bschool is an educational travel organization that partners with the top BBA, MBA, EMBA, and specialized master’s programs to execute high-quality experiential learning study tours worldwide.
The travel company specializes in experiential learning and academic travel programs - something its two founders were involved in as students. After discovering a gap in the market, they started Bschool to offer students the best possible experiential travel programs and experiences.
Since launching, Bschool has grown significantly, going from only two founders, now to a business of ten employees (and growing). The company serves various countries, offering unique student travel and learning experiences all over the world.
When it comes to its clients, Bschool has worked with many leading business schools, such as Harvard Business School, Northwestern, and NYU Stern. The travel company is doing some impressive things in the business student travel space, and its popularity is only growing.
Challenge
How did your business operate before WeTravel?
When we started Bschool, we first used Stripe with various integrations through Wecommerce. We found that payments were clunky and difficult to manage. It was challenging to make refunds, and the entire payment system was difficult to integrate into our website.
With each page, we had to build a unique landing page and integrate Stripe into it - which took time.
This led us to look for a different solution to free up time and streamline the payment process (for the consumer and our business operations). That's where we came across WeTravel. WeTravel was exactly aligned with what we were looking for.
Did you look at other solutions before deciding on WeTravel?
We did, but we found that the other solutions were not tailored to the travel industry. This meant we had to go through various extra steps in managing payments and bookings, which WeTravel makes far easier.

What problems has WeTravel solved for your business?
WeTravel has made managing payments extremely time-efficient. This is inclusive of the refund process, the payment collection process, and allowing students to pay via credit card.
Our student registration and information collection procedure has also dramatically improved since using WeTravel.
Onboarding has become a lot more streamlined, and more concise. It is such a joy that all our procedures can be done through one tool.
At first, we just wanted to have a reliable solution, and not necessarily the best solution, but now (with WeTravel) we are very focused on providing a great student experience overall.
What are some of your most used WeTravel features?
By far the most common feature is the registration process (that's where we collect all of our information). There’s a lot of trust in data security with WeTravel which we highly appreciate.
We also use WeTravel as a payment processor and to manage all of our payments and refunds. The reporting features of WeTravel are also top-notch. It’s nice to be able to download information directly and access it easily in one clean spreadsheet.

How do you think your business management has improved with WeTravel?
In the early days, we used WeTravel as a one-stop shop for managing itineraries and sending direct payment links to students.
We have since migrated to have our brand front and center. WeTravel provides a convenient embedded code to add to our pages so that we have more control over customization on our landing pages.
What has been your favorite part of working with WeTravel?
It’s great that we have a designated account manager. It shows that WeTravel has a customer-first mentality. They’re very good at following up on feature requests and setting up quarterly meetings.
In our experience, WeTravel listens to their customer needs, and every quarter new features are being added and implemented.
