Battery Spencer offers the most stereotypical post-card like view of the bridge, and offers the perfect backdrop for pictures with the bridge.

2. Marshall’s Beach
Marshall beach offers a view of a different side of the bridge than Battery Spencer does. It’s the perfect place for relaxing in the sand and watching the sunset. However, it is a bit more to difficult to get to than the other locations.

3. Fort Point National Historic Site
Fort Point is a national historic site and offers a very up close view of the bridge, and the wild unruly ocean water crashing against the shore. There are also rustic chains here that can add character to photos.

4. Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks offers a less closeup view of the bridge, but offers breathtaking views of the city as well.

5. Lands End
Lands End offers a classic view of the bridge in the distance, along with an amazing hiking trail. While there, don’t forget to take a look at the Sutro Bath Ruins and grab dinner at Cliff House, a restaurant that offers the most beautiful view of the Bay.
